Flowers at Mount Rainier

Mount Rainier above Edith Creek, Flowers
Mount Rainier above Edith Creek, MRP.
Mount Rainier National Park is a true gem in the Pacific Northwest.  I'm fortunate to live within 90 minutes of the park and spend much of my time there in the summer and fall months.  Of course, I'm not the only one!  The crowds can get pretty crazy, especially during flower season.

This image was taken at Edith Creek on the Paradise side of the mountain.  Being just a short walk (albeit uphill) from the parking lot, it definitely falls into the popular category.  It's best visited in early morning or a weekday in flower and fall color seasons.

I'm proud to share that this image was recently licensed to appear in a worldwide wall calendar for the 2027 & 2028 calendar years!

If you would like to see more images from the beautiful park and adjoining wilderness, please feel free to visit my Mount Rainier Gallery.  You can also see all my images from around the western United States and Canada at my www.mountainscenes.com.

As always, thanks for looking.  Hope to see you on the trail!
